CESSNA 421 GOLDEN EAGLE

WHY THIS PLANE?

The Cessna 421C Golden Eagle is the evolution of 25 years of production at Cessna Aircraft, one of the leaders in general aviation manufacturing. With seating for 8 comfortably in a pressurized, air-conditioned cabin, the external baggage area leaves the main cabin uncluttered. Cabin size is similar if not a tad bigger than most Cessna Citation jet models, this results in an unencumbered, open-feeling cabin where you can relax in peace and tranquility. Business travelers may opt to use their time in a face to face meeting while flying in a 90Db cabin; unheard of noise levels in prop planes.

WHAT CAN IT DO?

With fuel for over 5 hours of flight; flying 1000 miles in the Cessna 421C Golden Eagle non-stop is a breeze. Shorter legs, which cover most west coast destinations, can be reached in 1-3 hours. This allows for one-day business trips, spanning many geographic areas, allowing multiple-stops enroute to fully utilize our service allowing you to “go where you want to go” not “where they go”.

HOW SAFE ARE THEY?

Premiere is the first choice in safety; owner and engineer, Peter Danto has been operating, refining and perfecting the Cessna Golden Eagles for over 30 years, longer than ANY operator in the United States or for that matter, the world. The all-weather capability of the Cessna 421C Golden Eagle has the best safety record of ANY Cabin-class, pressurized aircraft ever produced.

With 375 hp engines, capable of putting out full power to 20,000′. Any trip, including flights to Telluride and Jackson Hole are a normal day for this plane. Cruising at 15,000-25,000′ above the weather and turbulence, you are in your own safe airspace, where the airliners and business jets fight for spacing above 30,000′

HOW EFFICIENT ARE THEY?

Today’s energy concerns still keep the Golden Eagle in high regards with the aviation community providing fuel-efficient comfortable cabin-class seating for up to 7 passengers at speeds from 230-260 mph, getting very good fuel economy. The mechanical reliability of the design has not changed and there are many pristine 421C’s flying today with Swiss-watch reliability and safety.

HOW DO I SAVE TIME?

While we cannot buy time, we can buy time-saving and the ability to fly in/out of smaller airports closer to your work, home or final destination, which greatly reduces time spent getting from point A to B as well as reducing the stress of operating in/out of busier airports. While the aircraft is not a jet, it provides jet time efficiency for 500 miles or fewer trips which encompass 90% of most business/personal needs.

HOW MUCH MONEY DO I SAVE?

Jets cost more and operate from fewer airports. Prop planes cost less and operate from more airports.

Operating cost of small jets are 4-5x higher than the Cessna Golden Eagle. For most trips, the jet just does not make sense. The key element here is utilizing point-to-point travel which is one of the main advantages to private aircraft travel efficiency.

While turbine jets are great, they are not very efficient on short trips (less than 500 miles). In addition, they just do not save that much time and require airports with longer runways, so the real time savings is negligible.
